July 20th, the birth of Alexander The Great

Join us this Sunday at Estate Boutique as King Phill & Ego Leather Goods release their collaborative project, Cocaina. Artist Phillip “King Phill” Loken and Leathersmith Reginald Stack of Ego Leather Goods came together creatively to create an astoundingly luxurious piece; a white caiman leather iPhone case. Built to fit the iPhone 5, Cocaina’s outer shell is made of exotic white caiman leather with red suede pigskin for the inner lining. Inscribed in gold foiling on the inner left side of the case is “King Phill X Ego Leather Goods” and below that is ancient Egyptian numbering to let the owner know exactly how exclusive the piece is. During the event, Cocaina’s video ad campaign (Directed by King Phill, Shot by Reginald Stack), will be projected on a wall for your viewing pleasure. The ad campaign is based around the namesake of the collaborative project; it’s definitely a work of art within itself. At the end of the night, there will be a giveaway where everyone in attendance of the event has a chance to win a free Cocaina iPhone case. July 20th will also be King Phill’s 21st birthday, so come out and support.

Phillip is a 20-year-old Business Studies major at UNCG. He runs a menswear fashion blog called Cool&Well-Dressed where he writes editorials on and interviews clothing brands. He developed an interest in photography from the need of original images for his blog. He prefers to be called an artist rather than a photographer because photography is just his current medium of creativity and he feels he hasn’t reached the level of mastery to deserve the title.
